Epic.
That’s the perfect word for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2. It was epic.
Crying moments included: Harry, Ron, and Hermione arriving back at Hogwarts, Minvera McGonagall defending Harry and welcoming him back in her own manner, Ginny (dunno why), Snape’s death, Snape’s memories (I LOVE ALAN RICKMAN), seeing Fred and Lupin, Lily, James, Sirius, and Lupin appearing (almost screamed when I saw Gary Oldman again), Harry walking to his death, Neville killing the snake like the BAMF he is, the end. The Real End.
It is the end of my childhood. I started reading Harry in 1999. Twelve years IS a long time. They are my friends from my childhood, and I, like them, was left behind. No more Hogwarts for me. But my love of my series will NEVER DIE.
Thank you, Hermione. Thank you, Ron. Thank you, Harry. And most of all, thank you JK Rowling for the past twelve years, thank you for giving me some of the most wonderful memories and favorite people in all of literature.
